
| Happy New Year 🤍 Thank you, 2025.
In 2025,
I began a new chapter of life in Canada—
to meet myself more deeply,
to step into new challenges for my mental health art project,
and to learn from the people, places, and everyday moments
a new environment can bring.
Living in a new place brings days
when the heart softens… and days when it sways.
And each time, I’m reminded that
“being okay” doesn’t mean becoming perfect—
it can mean holding myself, just as I am.
The busier our feelings become,
the more our minds get pulled into the “future” or the “past.”
In moments like that, our senses can gently
guide us back to “here and now.”
And as one way to return to that “here and now,”
skincare, for me, is a time to touch myself with kindness.
Choosing what fits—
my skin, my mood, my everyday life—
I hope for care that feels sustainable,
so that my breathing can become just a little deeper each day.
🕊️ A gentle note
Some research suggests that kind, soothing touch can support a sense of safety
and may help soften stress responses.
So skincare isn’t only about caring for the skin—
sometimes, through touch and breath,
it can bring us back to the present.
🕊️ A small practice (a gentle hint)
Place your hand on your cheek and feel the warmth.
If your shoulders are tense, soften them—just a little.
Inhale gently,
and exhale a little longer.
With small moments like these,
the noise inside can quietly settle.
| A gentle wish for the new year
In the new year too,
may you make “kind choices” for yourself, little by little—
and cherish the moments
when your breath becomes deeper.

even the time you spent reading this
is already a gentle moment 🤍
